Question Anyone else having problems with FXHD?

We're getting the same problem on both of our V+ boxes (one SA and one Samsung) when trying to watch FXHD, channel 158. The channel is constantly blocking and stuttering. Other channels (including other HD channels) are fine. Is anyone else having this problem?

That's good. I don't actually have an HDTV but I prefer to watch Life on Mars on FXHD due to FX not broadcasting in widescreen.

I do that also for Life on Mars USA despite only having a CRT. Any idea why they transmit it in letterbox on FX?

It'll be transmitted what it was filmed in. On the HD channels if something is filmed in 4:3 format then you get huge black bars left and right.

Re: Anyone else having problems with FXHD?

It was filmed in 16:9 HD. For some reason despite having an HD channel and a large portion of their programming being in widescreen the SD version of FX only broadcasts in 4:3. Any widescreen programming is shown letterboxed on FX but full widescreen on FXHD.
