Microsoft are offering students a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional for £30. Which I think is an absolute steal.
Home Premium is due to sell for around £75, and Professional is due to be around £125.
To be eligible for this offer you need to have a .EDU email adderss (example:
susan@leeds.ac.uk) and a computer that is currently running a genuine version of Windows Vista or Windows XP.
The offer starts on 1st October.
This is the UK's version of Microsoft's Win741 that they are promoting in the US.
