Looking for N97 deal
I am about to finish with my 3 contract and have an E71. Although this handset did quite well, I really need something a bit more modern and flexible. I have looked at many choices, but the N97 seems to meet my needs. I am paying twenty pounds a month, for three hundred minutes, with unlimited internet; does anyone know of a similar costing deal, including the handset.

Re: Looking for N97 deal
well you wont get the N97 for anything less then £30/month on contract
and that would most likely tie u up into a 18-24 month contract
unless 3 retention/upgrades department offers great deals
also u might wanna reconsider it
as Nokia has announced a N97 mini which is already available for pre-order on Nokia shop
(but dunno when it will really be released)
also there are a few problems with the GPS and camera lens which some says can be scratch from the slider cover
im on a £40/month 18month vodafone contract from dialaphone
personally i haven't had the lens scratched and haven't played much with the GPS
and am quite happy with it

Re: Looking for N97 deal
Thanks everyone, I kinda thought it would be a fruitless task with the cost (I am a tight git really and dont spending any more than I have to). I just thought someone might come up with a miracle and a very philanthropic network (yeah right! LOL). I don't want to stay with 3, no matter what they offer. I have nothing but hassle with them over the last two years or so and will do anything to get away from them.
Anyways, thank you all for your help and I will keep looking.

Re: Looking for N97 deal
Hve you considered the N95 8gb version? I had a free upgrade to a N97 which I took. I sold the n97 for a good price, and stuck with the n95 as thats a great phone too.

The N95 is a horrid phone, small keypad etc etc - it might be worth, popping into your local Phones4u - they tend, to give stupid deals to get the sale..
However, they the white one for free on £45 a month: http://www.phones4u.co.uk/shop/shop_...itemkey=257006
The also, have the black for £40 a month on Orange:

I was really looking for something to replace my E71 (I had an E61 before), the N95 doesn't have a Qwerty keybord, nor is it a touch screen phone. But thanks anyway.
