Web Host (Re-Sellers) Linux WANTED
Hi all.
I'm looking for a UK based host who offers a Re-Seller package (inc WHM, C-Pan). I need it to be UK based (not US or any other)
I dont want to sound rude, but I dont want members here saying they can offer a Re-Seller account for £xx a year. I've been there & have the t-shirt (lol i-Web). I just want to know what Big UK hosts would you recomend?
Cheers

WHM I have on other Re-Seller allows me to make a Package & asign Domain to that package & suspend it if needed. Not FULL WHM,

You will need a VPS or a Dedicated Server for full WHM I think (The cheapest option of the 2 is VPS), the only one I can suggest right now that uses CPanel/WHM and offers reasonably priced VPSs is www.hostforweb.com - BUT they're based in the USA, worth a look though

I've had a US based one before & to contact them at times is a NIGHTMARE. Thats why I wanted UK based I could ring if it got serious.
I said WHM & C-Panel as I want a way to add package (like 300mb, 1GB B/W) & then assign Domain Website to it. But as long as a ReSeller UK based could do it (without WHM) thats fine.
iWeb, Voo & others offered WHM/C.Panel.
Looking for another (under £150 a year if possible) or any Hosting (not Reseller) that would allow me to add 20+ sites to my Main account?

Well the best ones provide support 24/7 and reply within 1hr, How much space and bandwidth do you need per month? Also, are you hosting your own sites - or going to sell (or give away) to other people as well?

Re: Web Host (Re-Sellers) Linux WANTED
Ever thought of hosting yourself?
I have an old p4 running centos/ispconfig on my connection which is only ~800k u/l speed, ~3m d/l speed dishing out e-mails and www's for 5 sites whirring away in my garage lol after I got hacked off with hosting companies.
Cost next to nothing other than a bit of power.

I'm disabled so I'd rather pay a bit & have it hosted direct....

Not selling packages, I design a few sites & need to host them for client (I do it for free & ask them to donate my fee's to charity). So I'm looking for a low cost option (not like Fasthosts £500 a year) lol
Looking for 5-10GB (Min). 50GB or more Monthly, PHP support & thats about it.
Thanks for the links, I'm looking at all options

I did the same (though originally on a P3-800/512 Now on a P4-2Ghz/1.5Gb that I bought for 20 quid off ebay.
Centos5.3/Vitualmin/Webmin and runs about 10 domains and email. With up/down speeds ever increasing it's probably the way to go for a lot of people in the future.

Re: Web Host (Re-Sellers) Linux WANTED
JediMaster, I've been with HostForWeb for years and the few times I've ever had to use their support, I've found it second to none, they always answer emails quickly and if you have to phone them their support is great The only reason I'm leaving them is that I'm going with 1&1 as they are slightly more competitively priced, although unfortunately they use Plesk so I'm moving everything over manually and gradually and testing it fully

Re: Web Host (Re-Sellers) Linux WANTED
I wouldn't recommend Eukhost, it's mixed reviews - and they tend you terminate you as it's mostly oversold.
I'd recommend Webhosting UK, I've used them before for a VPS, they are expensive - but they deffo offer the best service and support. Their uptime is remarkable also; plus they have been in business since 2001.

Re: Web Host (Re-Sellers) Linux WANTED
There is some very simple advice here - stay away from the "unlimted" deals, people like, Heart, Fasthosts etc etc
I would say, take a look at my offerings PHP 5, WHM / cPanel - wide variety of PHP Modules - Realtime backups. Drop me a PM http://www.yeshosting.co.uk

Also, web hosting uk is owned by EUKHost
