Weird terminal services problem

Hello.

I'm self employed and I access exchange over the internet etc.

Sometimes I need to rdp to access the server at my partner's house where the server is located.

He's on holiday at the moment so can't help from his side. Hopefully you guys can help.

However, it's impossible to do anything at the moment because it's like the windows key is held down in the terminal services session.

I can't type the letter r because the run window comes up for instance. Outside of the session, there are no problems on any of the machines I have tries accessing from.

Can anyone think of a solution?

Thanks very much.

Re: Weird terminal services problem

Thanks very much.

I tried to apply the fix but it said it didn't apply to my system.

However though, the problem has now gone away anyway!

I'll keep monitoring.

Re: Weird terminal services problem

I guess you already have Vista SP1 then, hence trying to apply the hotfix.

At least the problem has gone away which is the main thing. I've had some bad experiences with terminal services 6 and certain third party (secure) authentication services so it's name is mud here

Yeah, I've got SP1 but thought I'd try and apply the fix anyway just in case.
