Question Has anyone got Discovery HD?

I have noticed for some time now that Discovery HD is showing as available in the TV Guide on the virginmedia homepage

http://tvguide.virginmedia.com/guide...e=30&x=57&y=13

has anyone got this as it is not listed on my V+ programme guide?

Re: Has anyone got Discovery HD?

No they dont as Discovery HD is not on Virgin Media.

The TV Guide data is provided by a third party and it lists channels not avaliable on Virgin TV for some reason

This one's done the rounds for over a year. Sadly.

Unhappy Re: Has anyone got Discovery HD?

I'm beginning to think that Virginmedia are all talk and no action.

When my contract came up for renewal I was told that there were HD channels being launched before Xmas but of course nothing appeared and that's why I stayed with Virginmedia instead of taking Sky's offer of a free install of BT line and HD services.

Next we're told by the CEO that 4 channels launching in the first quarter and still no sign of anything.

Then we're told ITV Net Player is going to have HD content on VOD along with 500 hours of programming in TV Choice and of course there's no sign of any HD and the amount of SD on demand does not add up to 500 hours.
