Upstream QAM16 61dBmV, They tell me nothings wrong!?

Hi my ends reading an upstream power level of 61dBmV using QAM16 which from what i've read is too high.

Our service has dropped off several times with the modems ready light flashing which im told means singal power level issues. Yet virgin keep claiming that the levels are not good but are acceptable!?

Am i right and should i keep complaining?

Thanks
Adam

thanks for your quick reply, i'll keep on at them!

---------- Post added at 23:31 ---------- Previous post was at 23:22 ----------

I just complained again and they said they would check again, i watched over the modem and noticed they changed the modulation to QPSK and cycled through various power levels just to end up locking back to 16QAM at 61dBmV?! Is this normal and is QAM or QPSK better i was under the impression that QPSK was the better of the two but i dont know much

Thanks again
Adam
