Hi, the other thing you can try is to run recovery console from your os setup disk and run chkdsk /r and this will check all files to see if any are corrupt or bad as I have fixed 9 out of 10 blue screens this way because its normally just an odd file thats become corrupt and unstable, let me know if that helps.

Hi this tells you how to use Vista SFC (system file checker) which checks system files for any corrupt or damaged files http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/2231/..._file_checker/ abit like recovery console and you might need your vista dvd/cd but if you have bought your computer with it preinstalled and given a Recovery or Restoration disc then they might not work but give it a go, hope this helps.
