Hi All,
Stupid question i'm sure but here goes.... I've got a new laptop and I want to set up my virgin media broadband access on it. The problem that I have is that my set up disk was Blueyonder and the disc isn't recognised by my new laptop which is running windows vista. I've tried the helpdesk with no luck. Any suggestions?
You don't need the set up disk, you just power down the modem and laptop, connect the ethernet cable to the laptop and modem, plug the modem back in and wait for the lights to stabilise before turning the laptop on, and you're done.
That is of course unless you're trying to connect via USB which you can't on vista, you need to use ethernet.
