Lost channels since package change

I'll keep it short..

I had;

XL TV (v+ box)
4mb BB (which had been u/graded to 10mb recently)
Phone

I got a bill for £101, we did make alot of phone calls to mobiles but i wanted to call and see if there was anything that could be done so ended up with;

XL TV (v+ box)
20mb BB (getting close to 20mb speeds as well)
XL Phone with free local calls 24/7 and cheaper mobile calls

for £58 odd per month which should cut down on the price of the calls

So it was all working last night and then when i came down this morning, the online light was flashing on the V+, the RDY light was flashing on the modem

I didn't have time to deal with it as i had to go to work and the telly was working but my wife called me at work to say we had lost some channels, not all are listed but these are the ones we have noticed

Nick Jr2
Disco Home and Health
UK TV People

I wonder if they have downgraded my TV service by pressing the wrong button or if there is a known tech fault with these channels that's not being reported on here.

any ideas people?
