Scart To V+ Box

Hi
I'm sorry if these questions have been asked previously.
I'm looking at ordering the V+ box shortly, does it have a direct connection to scart or similar. If not how do I connect it to my crt sony?
What is GB capacity of the box? How does this compare to sky+.
And lastly does V+ have the series link feature like sky+
Thanks
Chris

Re: Scart To V+ Box

The V+ has the following outputs
HDMI
component (phone type sockets for the RGB and audio)
Scart (2 no)
RF (coaxial)
digital optical

If HDMI is enabled the RF and Scart will not operate (scart 2 will operate for archive to VCR / DVD recorder only in other words you view and set up on the TV screen as you wouldn't see menus and stuff on the scart output).

The capacity is 80 hours of standard definition TV

Series link does work in that you can set recordings of all programmes in a week or each week.

But his questions were not about HD, its was about the PVR side of the V+ box. So he wont really be wasting money will he.

V+ can record 2 and still/ watch/pause/rewind on 3rd channel - upto 90 mins (i think Sky is 60?)

V+ has HDMI (Hi-Def) ouput when you upgrade your TV

Sky doesn't have hours of VOD
.
