for info - WA3 upgrade ?????

Hi all,

copy of email from VM below in response to complaint re speed. Was asked to run traceroute, netstat and download 4 specified files simultaneously.
Results on 20mb connection for file downloads, average speed = 31KB/s (1st night) and 120KB/s (2nd night)
(i am right in reading them as 0.3mb and 1.2mb arent i??? if im wrong just shoot me )

anyway i digress...VM email below: -

" Thanks for getting in touch with the Virgin Media Support team.

Thanks for your patience waiting for us to reply to your email and
please accept our sincere apologies for the delay. Rest assured that we
are working very hard to answer every customer enquiry, and to ensure
that our reply times reduce back to normal as soon as possible.

Further checks on your connection show that the capacity is fully
utilised at times. This has been raised under reference 162220, and
upgrades are currently planned for mid May.

We apologise for any inconvenience this is causing.

If there's anything else we can help with, please let us know.

Kind regards, "

i dont actually believe them as they told me in October 07 that Feb 08 was upgrade time.....it is actually very amusing all in all.....Vm got me by the b**ls as i live quite a way from BT exchange...so why not laugh
