HI everyone i have just joined your site and very interesting too.#
i have bought a second hand stb for my sons room but she won't tune in at all, loads of numbers are going in but it flashes up ER11, has anyone got some help for me, i forgot to mention that it is a scientific atlanta explorer 4200dvb whatever that is, also a modem light keeps flashing at me.
so can somebody let me know how to fix this regards graham.:

You posted your thread in the "Articles" section, which is for Articles & Information, & is an area where all posts are moderated for approval.

I have approved it & moved it to "Cable TV Services".


Virgin Media STBs can only legitimately be supplied by Virgin Media, to genuine Virgin Media customers.

They remain the property of Virgin Media & should not be bought/sold.

You cannot just buy one off eBay or wherever & plug it in.

If you want to get cable TV for your son's room, I suggest you contact Virgin Media

To prevent this thread going into detail about discussing the use of illegitimately obtained STBs, I am going to close it.
