To cut a long story short.
I got in from work last week took my work coat off and forgot to take my mobile phone out of my coat.
Went to sleep for an hour got up to the news that my dad has washed my mobile phone ffs
I now need a new one and haven't a clue whats good or bad in the mobile world?
So can anyone link my to some good affordable phones please?
Not on a contract btw.
Re: Need help selecting a good new mobile phone plz?
Rather than shell out for Sim-free (unless you really want it as "any network"), look for a pay as you go on the same network - the Sim is probably still ok if you want to keep the number.
What's good very much depends on what features you are looking for, I could say how great my super-slim My220x is as slip in your pocket phone, but it's useless if you want a Skype phone, Bluetooth or any other tricks.

on which network are you Ginge? cuz at the moment the Sony Ericsson K800i is being sold off for £69.95 Pay as you Go on most of the networks at CPW (carphonewarehouse) and I can say that it is a brilliant phone
