Question on downgrading

Quick question.

IF i downgraded from 20mb to 4mb will there be any physical change at the UBR/server end or will VM simply keep me on the same line and throttle my modem?

I believe they just send a new config file to the modem.

I am on 2MB and always hit top speed so I suppose you could try and see what happens.

it frees up bandwidth i think but never tried as I always get a good speed
