				 New Router - choices?

			Morning,
Our wireless router is on the blink so time for a new one...

Been looking at the Linksys WAG325N and a WAG200G but not sure which to go for. I know the WAG325N had some bad reviews when it came out but I believe the issues have been fixed in the latest firmware.

Any ideas?

My mate purchased this recently it works great.

Although you might find something just as good a bit cheaper.

Not sure if the two options I posted are gigabit routers - will have a look!

You are comparing two different speed wireless routers from Linksys there - g and n. g is up to 54mbps, n is still a draft standard (so future "compatible" kit might change) of 108mbps wireless. Of course you'd only get that if you have a n standard wireless adaptor on your PC and were transferring wireless to another n standard PC. Oddly the wireless, theoretically is faster than the wired ports.
Lan ports are remain 10/100 mbps, so ultimately that is the fastest your network could run at from any wired system - no gigabit stuff (would cost you much much more).

Yeah - sorry should have said - I knew what I meant!
Perhaps we'll just buy a 54G wireless until the n is ratified and the kit is at a reasonable price...more investigation required me thinks!
