I'm gonna guess it's because any programme [apparantly] on VOD stays there for just 15 days - so that gives us a good sporting chance of watching one episode a night with a few cock-ups here and there and then the rest of the series will be available 2 weeks after.
Purely speculation on my part here you understand.
Also, series aren't load onto servers(?) all in one go. Various people have reported having 3 episodes one day, ten the next and the full series a few days later
