Re: i am thinking to get V+

I would get the V+ box for the upscaling even if there wasn't any HD content.

I was watching the rugby upstairs on me 27" LCD with normal Samsung box this afternoon and it looked pretty average. I went downstairs to watch on orders from the wife at half-time and on the 32" LCD with a V+ box it looked completely awsome. This wasn't BBC HD.

Upscaling rocks!

Only the BBC HD channel at the moment I'm afraid. There is HD content on VoD though.

We have Coronation Street on at the moment which isn't HD, but on the V+ box, I even think that looks impressive!!

Yes - I had it installed yesterday, and watched some of the Blue Planet VoD stuff this afternoon which is in HD. The scenes with waves is mind-blowing.

Re: i am thinking to get V+

V+ is a very good device and service and I would recommend it today however you may have to wait a while for more HD channels to appear. The current content in HD is superb and as most say on this thread state, the upscaled SD channels do look amazing.
