v+ HD TO ED Plasma

I'm having my V+ box fitted on the 27th and was wondering if I would get a better picture on my ED plasma, if I connected by the component HD on the back of v+ box to the VGA (progressive scan) on the plasma. It is capable of showing HD but would down convert the image to its native resolution. Whats best 720P or 1080i?
At the moment I have a pace box connected at the back by scart (rgb) this is connected to a component converter box and a component lead connects from this to the plasma dvd input (Y Pb Br) it is only capable of an interlaced picture. A bit long winded but thanks in advance.

Re: v+ HD TO ED Plasma

Youll see a massive improvement over pace via scart - even on Single Def content
