Another 4 for £40 question.

At the moment im living at my dads for a while.
So i pay the £17.99 broadband charge and i also already have a £25 a month virgin mobile contract.
dad pays the home ntl phone bill and line rental whatever that is.
usually comes to about £18 a month i think.
We dont have ntl tv just freeview boxes. Dont particularly need it either.
We keep getting the letters re 4 for £40 so could they put these things together under my name? Or his name?

Want to make sure if i ring i explain it right.

Re: Another 4 for £40 question.

It all depends on how long the contracts have left to run and where you live. If you are billed either on SMS or SABS, Ideally the best way to do it would be for you to cancel the broadband and your Dad take it out under his name and add it to his account, therefore all services are on 1 bill and could go under the 3 for £30 + virgin SIM offer. However this would then start a new 12 month contract for the b/band.

For those 2 billing systems, the discounts only really work when everything is on the same account number

If your Dad doesn't want to do that is also possible to do a Transfer of Responsibility for the b/band into your Dad's name. This would also be the preferred way if you are billed on ICOMS as the b/band is always billed seperately at the moment.

As long as you are out of your contract with Virgin Mobile you can swap the tariff to the £10 sim deal.

Even if you don't want the TV you could always try the Phone+BB 2 for £20 with Virgin Mobile £10 bundle.
