Bad Pool Caller Error

Bad Pool Caller Error



When i restart my windows XP computer, i sometimes get a blue screen error which says BAD_POOL_CALLER

After i finally get Windows to start up, the windows has recovered error comes up and this is the error code which will be sent to Microsoft, what is the problem?

Could be dodgy drivers or hardware. Have you tested the RAM etc?

Do they have a realtek onboard sound card? An old google find suggested a old realtek driver. If you press F8 at startup you can enable 'boot logging' which may indicate which driver is causing the problem. See here for more F8 boot options.
