My PC is oten very slow at booting up so I used cccleaner to list programmes loaded during PC start up (see attached)
Are these all necessary ??? or can I delete them so they are not loaded until needed ?

Ctfmon I have seen cause issues with CPU usage.
Msconfig will not stop it and I think Ccleaner will not also.
You will need to create a software restriction using group policy editor to disable it.

Ctfmon is part of MS Office.

If you don't use any of those features, you can get rid of Ctfmon by going into Add/Remove programs, click the Change button for the MS Office entry, select add/remove components, then under Office Shared Features, set Alternative User Input to Not Available. If you have other MS Office products that are installed seperately, e.g. Frontpage, you'll need to do the same with them as well.

It's not only part of Office anymore but is installed as default with Internet explorer 7.
