Re: davie

to CF.

First, please use meaningful thread titles. It helps us mods, and the users to work out what you are on about. I have edited the title.

Second, could you give more details of your problem (errors, that sort of thing)?

Thanks.

most decent computer systems, especially media based ones, should have a variety of audio and video connection ports, perhaps S-video, amongst others. Your going to need to play around with the cables, probably buying a lead (maplin.co.uk are a good place to look for variety of what is available) to convert scart at one end to s-video or separate RGB video and phono plugs at the other. Leads supplied with the media centre may then allow you to connect it all up.

Re: Connecting HP Media Centre to Telewest network.

there have already been a few threads on this forum about this.. do a seach first and you should be able to find the answers you need in some of the older threads

as stated you will have to get a SCART t0 s-video lead to feed into your MCE box.. note this will redice the quality though

depending on what box you have you might have to get the www.redremote.co.uk as well to turn the STB over for you.. that site has an MCE page as well
