can i view my BB bills online?
hi all, i was wondering if i could get my account details online just to see how much im actually paying for each service i have, coz my brother has the dial up service, i have the 128k bb?(i dont see any info about 128k anymore on ntlhome.com) i have the STB too.
also is it worth upgrading to 150k service?

Re: can i view my BB bills online?
Welcome to NTHW
AFAIK all 128k customers were automatically upgraded to 150k some time back (Same time as they introduced the new prices).
You should be able to access your on-line billing details via the links from the main http://www.ntlworld.com page as long as you have the correct username/password details available.
EDIT: Ooops missed the m in "com" my bad.

E-Bill isn't available in all areas but you can try here: https://ebill.ntlworld.com/CommonEBill/

Re: can i view my BB bills online?
davegnr - Sociable is quite right, but missed the "m" off the URL, which should be http://www.ntlworld.com/
Go to "Your Account" / "Your Bill". You might find that the e-bill is not available in the area of your francise though.

Re: can i view my BB bills online?
davegnr - Try Robin Walker's simple speed test :
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robin.d...speedtest.html
His site has a comprehensive selection of advice for CM & broadband.

You can test your speed here.
or press Page up, Page Down, Blue on the STB remote to bring up a menu then look for QOS: bronze.cm

2nd 128K took 5110 ms = 25650 Bytes/sec = approx 213 kbits/sec
3rd 128K took 5600 ms = 23406 Bytes/sec = approx 195 kbits/sec
4th 128K took 6810 ms = 19247 Bytes/sec = approx 160 kbits/sec

All look great for 150k in fact if anything you appear to be getting better than expected results
The 128 k at start of each set is the ammount of data sent not speed btw.
EDIT: Looks like your ave speed is closer to 200k probaly due to data compression and or the data being in a local cache

lol, its the last bit that you need to look at not the bit at the beginning of the line it say that for everyone. Yes thats very good for 150k too good are you sure your not on 600k your averaging 204k. Try repeating the test by clicking repeat from source server on the test page.

afaik '150K' subscribers connecting via STB in some areas actually get a 256K downstream.

Still! I thought they changed that but looking at the result again you might be right.
Edit: Now when davegnr comes back they are going to be p*ssed off their connection is running slow. You should have kept quiet and they would have been happy
