Weird Problem in Battlefield 2
Hi when i approach a building and enter the building my character starts to jerk yet as soon as i leave the building and run freely in open my movement becomes smooth again! any thoughts??

Sounds like your hardware (gfx card) cannot cope with the increased rendering etc are you running with settings on high?
What Grafix card do you have?
Have you tried turning the game VGA settings down a notch or two?

i thought it would be this i have radeon 9550 256mb. i have settings on "meduim".

Thats should be okay methinks.
Does BF2 not default all the settings to the best your card can cope with ?

yeah i think it does. its annoying me when i enter a building i become jerky and when try to shoot or run or just walk it lags n jerks.

What happens if you drop the detail down to low?

What version of catalyst driver are you using now?
New versern here:
https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...questionID=640
But first go to windows update, download microsoft .net and when you've restarted your PC, go back to windows update, download the further updates to .net, then go to the above ATI link, and download/install the new catalyst driver.

Hi yeah i updated to 5.8. . seems ok now. although havent been on sharqi penninsula yet to try out being in the building.
