Not sure if this should be here, or in a Humour thread (only funny if it doesn't happen to you!) Just to show that BT get it wrong as well.......

Sounds like BT. We once lost our BT business phone line (it was meant to be stopped at one address and reconected at another address with the same number at the same time). When we phoned to what was going on we were told it would take 48 hrs to reconnect it. We threatened to get another provider and were reconnected in 10 mins .
48 hours my a*se!

Also Blueyonder can get it wrong but both do have a difference they have learnt to admit when they have made a mistake. I like the CEO words about blueyonder here

And his phrase is
Quote:
When we screw up it can be spectacular

Asserting that Telewest is better than 2 years ago, he admits that Telewest does screw up, and goes on to ask Telestew readers to contact him directly so that his staff can make Telewest better -
And today BT have sorted out someone who has been told no chance for ADSL after loads of test that he can have it that is when the CEO of BT gets down to work. When will NTL join them.
