Freedom dialup number??
Hi
I asked a similar question to this elsewhere and tried the suggested dial up number without success.
I am seetting up a manual connection on a new pc running XP, on the old PC which has the dial up softwhere installed, I open up NTL as if I was going to connect.
However the number has four * at the end of the number.
Anyone know what these numbers are and why they are encrypted, when I set up the 1st manual connection it rang but just all lined are busy, pls try later, or sorry, there is a fault.
But when I go back to the original PC it connects 1st time.
Any ideas please
