Create first email account

My friend had to phone up ntl to register her broadband as the registration pages just wouldnt load up.

So, ntl sent the hit to her SACM and she is now online. However, because she didnt use the registration pages to register, she didnt get an email account set-up.

How can she now get an email account, as she doesnt have a user/pass to "login" and add mailboxes!

Thanks,

James

Re: Create first email account

the person who your friend spoke to should have set the email/webspace up over the phone- if this has not been done, get the account holder to contact technical support on 0845 650 0925 and they will set it up over the phone.

Also, was the person your friend spoke to in customer service or technical support?

Re: Create first email account

She originally spoke to CS.

She also rang Tech Support tonight and they tried to create an email account for her but couldnt do. They didnt say why. They just said call back tomorrow.

This is very poor service already and she isnt best pleased. And to say I recommended ntl to her I must agree with her.

If there is any ntl staff on here - is it possible for me to PM you the details and then look into it for us?

Thank you. She's desperate to get an email account for herself and kids.

Sorry due to issues of Data Protection the account holder needs to call ntl in person.

Re: Create first email account

No problem. But, after calling ntl twice already and them not knowing what to do, keep telling her to call back, she's a bit miffed. Any other idea's?

she can ask them to check what the email address is in SABS (it will mean someone to the people on the phone ) and if there is one, ask what it is, and if not, ask if one can be setup.
