number not recognized

hi all i need some help with a number.i just recived a call asking for a Mr Hobbs on my landlind now theres only 1 cos my dad past away a few years ago and i dont normaly get calls like this so i asked for wot Mr Hobbs and they just hanged up. i did 1471 and the number came up as 0207 0311988 and u cant call it back if u call from a mobile the number is not recognized can any1 find out who this is.

id guess its an outbound call centre. Number appears to be engaged all the time

yeah i tryed that on th landline and the mobile came up as number not recognized strange

I know when i call home from work the number that you get when you dial 1471 is nothing like the number of the company.
