Digital Images

Ive got 500+ images on my computer all of which are called different names such as "Joe Bloggs Eating" and "DS00124".

Is there a program that can give all these pictures a special name such as "00123" because I want to put them all on to disc to be printed but some of them are called the same.

Ste Riley is an unknown quantity at this point
if you want a group of files sequentially numbered, then select all the files you want press F2 and rename the first file. Hold down F9 and press return.

All the files will then be numbered sequentially. May help!

I'm not quite sure if it's what you want but TheRename (try Google) is a programme that will will rename selected programes in running sequence; it's quite flexible in how you can rename files. I've tried it and it seems to work. It's free as far as I remember.
