Getting DCed glasgow area

Anyone having trouble keeping a permanent connection to the net lately in the glasgow / broomhill area?

I keep getting dced of MIRC and during this time i cant connect to the net or any other internet apps. i have to reboot the modem or restart the pc.
Same problem on both my NICs and i even changed the rj45 to the cable modem it never helped though.
