power cut problem with STB

This morning (around 3am) we had a powercut, and now the cable tv is out. The STB doesn't appear to have crashed, it still lets me change channels or switch it on and off, but there's no picture or sound, just a blank screen.

Tried the usual tactic of pulling out the plug for a bit, but still no picture. Haven't phone ntl yet, as I don't have a spare hour to spend on hold. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or knows if by the time I get home I'll have tv again, of if maybe there's just a problem in my area anyway (Woking).

Thanks.

If you have rebooted your STB and your still getting the problem I guess your best bet would be to phone CS.

I very much doubt you will be on hold for an hour, Infact I phoned CS recently and was put though basically right away.

I can't see any problems in your area via the Service Status Page either.
