Question Potential internet disruption due to power cuts in US?

In case you find things going down as all of NY as well as Detroit and into Canada, have no power.

Not terrorist related but apparently a failure at a single sub-station that's caused a cascade across the eastern side of the US because the system is so old and no redundancy seems to be built in! Crazy.

This could explain outages on the net.

But in all probability your traffic is routed through New England.

Tonight sucked big time in Toronto. Yeck.
