a resturant in the US is serving an omelette worth $1,000 the omelette consists of 6 eggs, a lobster, and 10 ounces of caviar.

Sevruga caviar is the common Russian caviar available as the sevruga sturgeon is much more common than the beluga or osetra. But the taste is still outstanding none the less.

The sevruga sturgeon weigh less than 100 pounds. Servuga is the smallest grained of all the Sturgeon Caviars and ranges in color from light grey to almost black. It has a full, robust flavor.

I looked up how much 6 eggs weigh & it is about 14½ ounces, for large, but that includes the shell, so reduce 10% gives about nearly 13 ounces of 'egg'

It didn't say how much the lobster weighed, assume 16 ounces

Including the 10 ounces of caviar thats a total of 39 ounces - nearly 2½ pounds - just slightly over a Kilogram.

they don't seem to mention that the 'wild' Sturgeon is an endangered species. While farming sturgeon has become viable, the reduction in the wild population is still a worry mainly, afaik, due to illegal trading.
