How to set up a Bromley box for widescreen?

I'm sure someone here can help me.

A colleague of mine has just upgraded from NTL analogue to NTL digital (he's in a Bromley area) and would like to set his box up to output a 16:9 signal as he has a widescreen TV. I have been unable to advise him as I'm in a Langley area (and haven't got CR3 yet anyway). Could someone please post the steps required to set up his STB correctly?

Re: How to set up a Bromley box for widescreen?

Using remote control press, TV Guide>Settings>TV Screen Settings I sometimes find that it does not automatically change and if adverts come on mine sometimes reverts to 4.3 and I have to use the TV remote to select 16.9
