I'm not so sure about that - at least not your reasoning.

The Queen has quite a hard heart. She packed Charlie Farley off into an unhappy school-hood - and look how he's turned out. She let Diana go to the dogs.

When ER goes, I don't think it'll be because of a heartbroken state.
