It's more of a fun, social interaction thing than a technologically ground-breaking console. Jumping around a room playing Wii Sports on Xmas day with is gonna be a blast. For FPS, however, I'm not sure that there's anything out there yet that would convince you to buy one. Far Cry has apparently turned out to be a very bad port from a version on another console... Ubisoft have been lazy and not re-written it to take advantage of the Wiimote & nunchuk
