The broadcasters are indeed lazy. To be honest, I find that the main FREE terrestrial channels (BBC, ITV and Channel 4) have a better choice of programmes than any of the non-premium PAY TV channels. That is scandalous and it really makes me mad.

I have access to Netflix and Amazon, which are very good and as time passes we are watching them more and more. I think in a few years the whole scene will be completely different. It will be then that I may be making dramatic changes. Sport is the Game changer for me. In 2019 there are lots of sport broadcasting rights up for grabs, so we shall see what happens.
