I'm going to the Canary Islands (Lanzarote) within two months and just wondered if the Canary Islands are classed as EU or outside the EU for the Virgin travel passes ?

I'll be taking my phone with me anyway because i'll be using it as my main camera and will try to connect to the hotel wifi, but free hotel wifi isn't always the best and it's usually only in the reception area. Hopefully the hotel has a cheap option of wifi in the hotel grounds. I can't be sure about that just yet though and know that that isn't always much good.

Also if we drop out of the EU i guess the travel pass wouldn't be much good in the future.

What do other Virgin mobile users usually do about travelling abroad ?
