You called VM to apologise? What was the point? Maybe you shouldn't have kicked off in the first place?
I'm sure you're little rant wasn't the worst they have heard. I would think you got a lot more worked up than you did and probably had a good little chuckle to themselves when you got the phone and you would have been forgotten about by the next call.
