If you want to bring back something which has failed you need to try something different in order to make it successful, you can't just keep having multiple channels of the same drivel. If they truly want to cater for everyone, which they should be considering everyone has to pay the license fee, then they need to offer better quality tv. If Sky can bid for series on Sky One, Sky Atlantic, Sky Witness etc and Syfy can buy the rights to series, Fox/FX, CBS and all those other channels then the BBC can too. They managed with the X-Files, Buffy and Star Trek back in the 90s, they just need to think bigger.

Are you prepared to pay bigger? Let the BBC be about new distinctive programmes, not repeating others output.
