There is one odd thing, though: I was asked on the form if I had any convictions, unspent or not. Under the terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974), I'm not at all sure they have any legal right to ask about spent convictions. Unspent, yes, but spent?

Abuse of the dbs system is a real bugbear for me, if it's another warehouse job what makes them think they have the right to ask. There was a change in the law last year thanks to things like this where they're filtered of your record if they're more than 11 years old and served no prison time
