A member of staff at Sky has DM me via the sky forum to say the delay in getting this is due to Sky ensuring they can get BT Sport UHD. The plan is too hopefully launch BT Sport UHD along with Sky Sports UHD by August 1st

This same member of staff at Sky has told me Sky will announce today that BT Sports will be available for Sky customers to purchase directly from Sky tomorrow in time for the new Premier League season. I’m also led to believe BT Sport Ultimate will be part of the package but more likely to be this coming Autumn.
Hopefully the information I was give proves to be correct
