Didn't want to bore everyone . Have had rain coming into the cavity, because of direction with wind blowing under the roof . House is old didn't even know it had a cavity, guess the back was added at a later date , front definitely does not ! So told that 1) lift slates by gutter and put a ? Under to guide water to gutter. 1st says it not a permanent solution, not sure why , would do it but not at all happy about doing it , said a job is a job. 2)His answer is re-roof
the side as it would then have felt , batons and new slates creating a path to the gutter. Difference in work is about £2000 .
