u'll get a bill on the 1st of the next month charging u for the full month....but when the service gets disconected on the 14th u will only pay half of that bill so keeping the dd in place makes sense only if the draw date is after the disconection date. cos otherwise it will draw the full bill amount from the bank making a credit balance on the now closed account - of course u are owed this money as it is an overpayment so u would need to ring in to request a cheque refund as it isnt automatically sent out.

Ya still waiting for a refund after 4 months from leaving NTL and if you read around been alot of problems when you cancel and members being over changed because they left there direct debits in place.
