There is a difference in making things in 4k and broadcasting in 4k.

So for me the move to 4k production is worth it. However 4k broadcasts and TVs need to settle on a set of standards that are consistent. Without that the end results will vary wildly.

But that's also one of the things the BBC are trying to figure out and the one of the reasons they haven't yet got a permanent 4k schedule.
