The only thing making sense for me is promoting HD channels over SD in the EPG!
The changes have to happen with the approval of the channel owner, so I can only assume Sky are happy with the situation. Sky Arts is on channel 121 on Sky, but this slot occupied by Sky 2 on Virgin, so 122 is the next nearest available. The HD version has also moved in with the Entertainment section of the EPG in the new expanded block of channels going up to 240
