Although this deal has been agreed between the EFL management committee and Sky, if you read the article on BBC website it states that there is a meeting (tomorrow I believe) of the Championship clubs who were not in favour of this deal.

Reportedly undervalued, too long, don't like the midweek games all being broadcast (affecting attendances) etc etc.

Compared with the PL deal it does seem a miserly amount per game.

Well apart from the PL package they have, the FA Cup.

They also have a monopoly on Premiership rugby and the European Rugby Cup.

The next Ashes series in Australia will also be on BT.
