You were, but when you go to see a film called Kong v Godzilla, expecting character arc & development and an acting masterclass would mean that you are the idiot and not the film maker.

It’s like when people get angry about Star Wars, Marvel, DC etc. They’re kids films. They’re not excused from criticism but criticise from where they’re pitching to.
