I call it them using the allocated time for the pre-scheduled debate they booked. I would question why the abuse debate was pushed to the end of the day (rather than given a afternoon) when it's clear unexpected items to the agenda could force it out. The Education Secretary made a statement and took questions about the change in funding that
wasn't scheduled and stuff like that is not uncommon in Parliament.
They should organise another debate and have it early afternoon.
